Deco Boco Yatai, Famous Japanese Cafe in Padang

Padang, 20/8 — There is no doubt that Japanese culture has begun known worldwide, from their famous culture like Anime/Manga, tradition, technology, even until their traditional food. Deco Boco Yatai's operational hours started from 11.30 AM until 10.00 PM. It has a very friendly atmosphere and the prices of its food are affordable, making all university students love to spend their time here.

Alamsyah (31), the owner of Deco Boco Yatai said, “I ever worked in one of Japanese Restaurant in Japan as an apprentice for three years until I decided to run my own business in Indonesia around the end of 2012.”

Deco Boco Yatai has around four employees right now, it used to be six but the other two are already gone to Japan. Those two employees also worked as an apprentice in Japan like Alamsyah for three years before going back to Indonesia.

Until now, Deco Boco Yatai already has three branches of Café. Those two branches are in Andalas University and Padang State University, with the main branch is at Moh. Hatta Street, Padang.

“Our best seller foods are Okonomiyaki and Ramen. We received so many orders from our customer everyday by those two,” Alamsyah said.

Deco Boco Yatai has successfully changed the Indonesian citizen's view of the high prices of Japanese food because their menus started around 15,000—25,000 Rupiah.
