This conference held in Convention Hall of Andalas University and started at 08:00 AM—04.00 PM.

Tan Sri Dr. Rais Yatim During His Speech at ICCAH

Since ICCAH is an international conference, there are many speakers from various backgrounds, whether they are a Professor, a Lecturer, or University Students. All of these speakers not only come from Padang, most of them come from outside Padang and even abroad.

For the keynote speaker, Andalas University invited Tan Sri Dr. Rais Yatim. He is best known as the President of the International Islamic University Malaysia. ICCAH  also has several invited speakers from another University, such as Prof. Emeritus Tsuyoshi Kato, Prof. Dr. Rer. Nat. Nusyirwan Effendi, and Diah Tyahaya Iman, M. Litt., Ph.D.,.

This conference was quite success. There were many students attending ICCAH several days ago, especially those who are a part of Faculty of Humanities. Some of them attended ICCAH to complete their assignments and others came to gain some useful knowledge.

One of English Department student, Herfanni, said, “I feel so satisfied with this conference. I got so much information especially from those speakers who are from abroad. The way they give their speech presentation is great and quite interesting too!”

Another English Department student, Rida, said, “I think ICCAH is enticing because almost all of the topic presentations reflect our daily lives. The organizational system is also quite great, very orderly and disciplined. I think ICCAH deserves two thumbs up.”
