Padang, 5/9 — With the average temperature around 26ºC in Bandar Lampung, it must be uncomfortable staying or shopping in one of shopping centers without any Air-Conditioners. This case already happened in one of shopping centers in Bandar Lampung, Bambu Kuning.

Bambu Kuning is a traditional shopping centers located in Tanjung Karang, Bandar Lampung. It sells any kind of clothes with affordable price. However, like its name (traditional), the distance between each store is quite narrow. Because of that, the existence of Air-Conditioners in Bambu Kuning is very important.

Around June-August 2017, all of Air-Conditioners in Bambu Kuning are broken. The one who is in charge of electricity things took quite a long time on handling this problem, which made almost all of the shop workers feel stiflingly hot.

Jana (35), the owner of Olla’s Collection Store said, “We always pay the rent for Air-Conditioners facility on time, though. But it turned out that the AC repairing system isn’t working very well. I feel so uncomfortable as same as my employees.”

“You know, it’s not easy dealing with this hot situation because Bambu Kuning usually crowded with a swarm of people,” Jana says. “And now, the ACs are broken. This just made the situation even hotter by being too close with all of these crowded.”

The shop owners along with the employees hope for the next time, the repairing system in Bambu Kuning can be better than before.
